One of the strategies that Mike promotes to his students is, "Leveraging The News".  An example of this would be if Oprah talks about something on her show that is related to your industry.  Leverage this by quickly putting content out there on the internet - educational content, where people will be seaching for information.  This way you can get locked into the search engines and generate fast results for your business.

"Attractive" Value-Based Marketing vs. "Unattractive" Pitching & Selling

"Unattractive" pitching and selling of your products, services and business opportunity is the fastest way to lose your prospects attention.  People don't want to be "sold to", they want you to provide them with information that is beneficial to them, so that they are able to make their own decisions.  By putting your emphasis on the wrong things you will miss your opportunity to connect with people.

"Attractive" value-based marketing is about giving to the other person first.  Shift your thinking from, "It's all about me" to "It's all about THEM".  Put yourself in your prospects shoes, understand their needs, concerns and problems and then give them information to help them solve their specific needs.  Your marketing should always address this directly.  Giving before you get is the most successful sales and marketing approach you can use.

You want people to come to you (attractive), instead of chasing them down (unattractive).  Giving your prospect the information they are looking for will build a relationship and trust with them.  Offering something of value, investing in the relationship will increase your prospects interest in you.

You may offer a great product in the marketplace, but so do thousands of other people.  Set yourself apart from the crowd by offering value to your prospects.  Differentiate yourself in the marketplace - help them solve their needs - this will make you more memorable to your prospect.

By positioning yourself as a leader, an expert, a helpful person - people will remember you and come to you when they are looking for guidance and advice.   They will remember you when they are ready to buy.

Marketing and selling is all about building relationships with people in which you are seen as a trusted advisor.  By demonstrating your expertise through providing value you are building credibility and trust.  You are establishing yourself as an expert.  Develop and maintain helpful relationships with others with a focus on helping them.

Building relationships, trust and credibility are some essential goals of the professional.

If you're chasing and pitching your business opportunity, product or services, that's not marketing - that's pitching and selling.

How To Become An Attractive Network Marketer: Attracting the RIGHT People to You

Recently I received this email:

"People love my product and really see the benefits for their health.  They enroll as distributors and then DISAPPEAR!  Fall off the radar...What am I doing wrong?  I follow up with them, but they are already freaked out that they have joined a network marketing company!  Evidently I am attracting the wrong people."

Are you attracting the RIGHT people to your network marketing opportunity?  Are your prospects even aware that they are signing up as distributors in a network marketing business or do they just want the product you offer?

There is a right time to promote your network marketing company or your products, but most of your marketing should be geared to promoting YOU.  What YOU and only YOU have to offer. Successfully selling your opportunity begins with successfully selling or promoting YOURSELF, not your product or opportunity.  You have to offer your prospects value, brand YOURSELF in the marketplace.  The more value you can offer people, the more valuable you will be to them.

For you to be the person they turn to when they are looking for information, advice, help and guidance - and eventually a business opportunity you have to offer viable solutions to their problems.

Knowing your target market - the people you are selling to, is crucial to your business.  Knowing who you want to attract is an important and essential ingredient in your marketing efforts.  You must know who you want to attract before you can attract them.  Knowing your target market is the foundation of your marketing system.  That's where it all begins.

Once you've determined your target market - identify their needs, wants, desires, hopes, problems, and dreams.  Having an intimate knowledge of what they are interested in, what they are talking and thinking about and what they are looking for will make attracting the right people to you much easier.  A successful business comes from giving people what they want and need.  Offer your target market solutions to their needs, wants, desires and problems.  Help them reach their dreams.

Start by building your "Web of Content" so that the right people can find you.  You can do this by writing and posting articles, doing videos, starting your own blog and socializing with the people who might be interested in what you have to offer.  These pieces of content have to be value-based, informational or educational and speak only to your target market.  This is the core of attraction marketing - creating highly-targeted valuable content.

Once your prospect has found your content on the internet, direct them to your lead capture page.  This is the place where you are able to capture your prospect's information (their name, email address and/or phone number).  Another prospect has now been added to your list and they have given you permission to communicate with them.  These prospects are already highly-qualified, because of the value that you have already offered them through your content and your lead capture page.  They are already interested in what you have to say and filled out their information on your lead capture page, which also spoke to them about their needs and a solution to their problems.  The pre-selling process has already started.

Attraction marketing means that you need to continue to provide ongoing value after you have generated leads and they have opted in to your list.

Auto-emails and emails you send manually will continue providing value to your prospects (offer them tips, strategies and information or education about how to build a successful network marketing business) positioning you as a leader, an expert in your field.  By doing this you will be able to place your "offers" in front of your prospects to buy your products from you, or to contact you about your opportunity, instead of you chasing them down.  This way your prospects that sign up as distributors won't be freaking out about joining your network marketing opportunity and because of the valuable information that you have provided to them they will already have an understanding of how to build a successful business.

Make Calling Your Prospects Easy With Attraction Marketing

Are you using the phone in your networking or home-based business?

Make calling your prospects easy, with 'Attraction Marketing' techniques!

The basis of attraction marketing is to give value to your prospects, FIRST. Do not pitch your business opportunity or your products upfront. Offer valuable, viable solutions to people in order to solve their problems, address their concerns and fill their needs. This is how you attract highly-qualified targeted prospects to you that will be interested in what you have to offer.

Building relationships with people first is important to your long-term business success. When your prospects get to know you, they believe what you have to say and they trust you. They will be more likely to buy from you and/or want to go into business with you, when they know that you are there to help them succeed in their own business endeavours.

Anyone who calls their prospects in their business to increase sales and build relationships, needs to know how to use attraction marketing techniques on the phone. You will want to continue to provide your prospects with value when you talk to them on the phone, just as you do when you are writing articles or sending them emails. Give them what they WANT and NEED, not what you want. Remember, it's about them FIRST. This will make selling to them in the future so much easier.

When having a conversation with your prospect on the phone ask questions about what it is they are looking for. What is it that they need in their business, what are their questions and concerns, are they having any challenges, have they been using any systems, and how are these systems working for them? Is there anything that YOU can help THEM with?

You have to listen to what your prospect is telling you on the phone. When you ask a question, wait for them to answer; don't anticipate what they are going to say - REALLY LISTEN! Let them talk, don't interrupt. Make sure you take notes, so that you will remember what your prospect said, and it will give you a reference point when talking about their needs.

Building your phone conversation around your prospects needs is an attractive way to market. As your relationship evolves with this prospect and they learn to trust you, they may be the one asking you for information about your product or business.

Feel good about what you're doing, and the way you're doing it. Make your prospect feel comfortable about talking to you on the phone, make them feel good about having a conversation with you, have them anticipating your next phone call.

Learning to use the phone to increase sales and build relationships with attractive marketing will lead to a lot more sales, a lot more fun and a lot more success; no matter what business you're involved in.
